DOVESTONES BY THE SEA 

Looking for a beach stay with a great relaxed vibe? Our recently refurbished rustic retreat has been named after the Dovestone Reservoir in Northwestern England, for its rural allure. Hope you enjoy getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life as much as we do.

Upon entry the open plan living/dining and kitchen areas are light filled, cosy and comfortable. A large deck area on two sides of the house provide a great way to catch the sun and relax with a wine or beer in the evening. Enjoy a long lunch or dinner at home with a BBQ and Dining area conveniently at the back of the house.

The main house has two bedrooms, (bedroom 1: Queen x 1 Bedroom 2 Double x 1) with a spacious bathroom combined with a laundry and separate toilet. The third bedroom (Queen x 1) is located separately a few steps away from the main house with its own bathroom and toilet facilities. A fully fenced backyard is a great safe space for kids and the family dog (outside only).

Reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living area will keep everyone comfortable no matter what the weather brings, a log fire in the second living area is a cosy retreat on those chilly evenings. With all that Inverloch has to offin close proximity including the local shopping area and great eateries, do yourselves a favour and book a trip soon.

Separate Host Terms and Conditions and Credit Card Forms must be completed and returned to our office invyrentals@alexscott.com.au to finalise your booking.

Key Collection is between 2pm and 5pm, arrival out of these hours will incur an extra fee.

    Whilst the location was good the house didn’t meet expectations and was definitely not value for money. When booking a three bedroom two bathroom house I think it reasonable to expect both bathrooms to be in the house and accessible without going out in the rain to do so. Especially trying on a cold wet and windy night. This should be advised before rental.
    As well the standard of cleanliness was not wonderful with dirty dishes several of which were chipped. There was also no dishwashing liquid provided only powder for a dishwasher but the house doesn’t have a dishwasher! A minor thing as we easily bought some but annoying and shows a real lack of attention to detail at this property.
    The staff at Alex Scott were however professional and responsive
